SINVAC ROTO, the oldest roto-moulder in South Africa, was established in 1962 at its current location in Pretoria West.
The company's primary focus is on the
marketing, manufacturing, and distribution of roto-moulded and other plastic products in South and southern Africa. Most of the manufacturing is done on-site, with some redesign, reconfiguring, and the introduction of new technologies. A quality system has also been developed to ensure high standards. SINVAC can handle both small orders and large-volume contracts.
The company also develops products and moulds for customers, currently holding more than 450 moulds.

The History of Sinvac-Roto
In 1983, the company became BONAR SINVAC PLASTIC, part of the international BONAR INDUSTRIES GROUP. However, Bonar later disinvested, and in 1993, Dr. Hans Luthy acquired the business. He managed it until 2003, when it was purchased by the current owners. Dr. Luthy remained involved with the company until 2005.
The history and reputation of SINVAC ROTO continued to grow, and the entity became known as SINVAC ROTO (PTY) LTD. It is now owned by a group of engineers, employees, and BEE shareholders.
